Interlaken is a small city in the Bernese Alps. It is situated nicely between mountains and two lakes. Nevertheless, it can be reached easily within 40 minutes by train from Bern and has direct train connections e.g. to Berlin and Frankfurt. Arrival by train

Take the motorway A8 from Bern to Interlaken. Exit at Interlaken Ost. When you reach the second roundabout, take the first turnoff. Follow to Congress Centre Kursaal. There is a parking space (liable to pay costs) at the entrance north of the Congress Centre Kursaal. Directions

The regional airport Bern-Belp is one hour away from Interlaken.
From Vienna and Amsterdam airport, 4 flights a week bring you to Bern.
From Berlin, Hamburg, London, Münich and Palma de Mallorca, you can travel at least once a day to Bern.
All other Swiss airports are about 1.5 to 3 hours away from Interlaken. There are direct train connections to Interlaken via Bern from all airports every hour.
